Do you have something to say, but not necessarily in an “official” form? Or maybe you simply want to play with form, collage and words? We invite you to zine-making workshops – a space of free expression, DIY and creative play.
Zines (from the English word magazine) are independent, authorial magazines in which you can express yourself, your views, rebellion and passions – without advertisements, without commerce, entirely on your own terms.
During the workshops, we will show you how to create your own zine – from the first idea to the finished copy. You will leave with a handmade publication of your own: the first one or another one in your artistic portfolio
The event is led by:
Ola (seeyaspace_olson) became interested in zines completely by accident – from a BrattyxBre film on YouTube, which started a whole avalanche of inspiration. Over time, she began discovering zine creators, until she eventually entered this world herself. Manual activities had always been close to her – zines became for her a way of creatively expressing herself and taming difficult emotions (although not all of her works are serious).
