We invite you to an intergenerational meeting (18+ to seniors) combining art, conversation and the experience of community.
Part I: Linocut and screen printing – queer graphic workshop
Under the watchful eye of Alina Synakiewicz (an expert in the field, educator, trainer, social skills coach), participants will learn the basics of linocut and create their own graphic matrices. Together, we will print them on paper, creating a collection of works inspired by the experience of corporeality, relationships and sexual diversity.
The resulting matrices will then be used during the introduction to screen printing, which will be led by Marek. We will transfer the graphics onto textiles, building a shared, changing installation composed of individual interpretations of our identity and expression.
The result will be a living gallery of works, created from many perspectives and experiences – different, just as different as the participating people are.
Part II: Intergenerational speed dating
For those willing, after the workshop part there will be an informal session of quick conversations led by matchmakers from House of Cropp.
This is a space for meeting new people, exchanging experiences and perspectives between generations. The conversations may concern relationships, life in the LGBTQ+ community, dating, friendship, history, emotions, perception of the world, or simply how queer everyday life looked and looks differently.
This is not about romantic matches – what matters are meetings that build dialogue and curiosity between generations, which will be made possible by the presence of seniors invited to participate.
You can take part in one selected part or in both.
Email registration is required for both parts. The number of places is limited.
