We will not be talking about specific titles – above all, we want to talk about what we like to read and what we are looking for in literature. Bring with you (physically, on Kindle, in your hearts or in your heads) your favourite books or readings that have delighted you recently. Let us tell each other about what we read and simply get to know each other better.
During the meeting, we will also check whether there is a desire in us to meet regularly and talk about books together!
Queer Book Club is a space for people from our community who love to read and talk about literature. We are open_ to all identities and all literary genres – from novels, poetry, comics and manga, to essays and reportages written and read by lesbians, gays, bi, trans, non-binary and queer people.
QBC is a place open to conversation, mutual respect and attentiveness to people who come here to share their reading experiences. We build this respect together – for one another.
The meeting will be led by Piotr Buśko, also known as Twoja Stara. Piotr co-leads Book Club meetings in Wrocław, where he is active in Culture of Equality.
