Art is a tool of resistance, and a manifesto is a way to claim space in the public sphere. RE:CLAIM! workshops are a collective effort to create poster-manifestos that speak of equality, queer expression, and resistance to oppression. It’s a creative space where participants can design their own message – visual, typographic, symbolic – and take it to the Equality March or leave it as part of a shared exhibition.
The workshop is organized by Local Girls Movement — an association working for the education, empowerment, and integration of women and people with female experience, creating a safe, educational, and activating space.
Facilitator: Heronika Harzyńska – Professionally involved in broadly understood design – she gained experience in marketing agencies and in the branding studio Blürbstudio. Privately, she designs communication and marketing strategies for clients, and in her spare time, she teaches design at a university and conducts visual communication trainings. She is the organizer of the Santa Grafika initiative — meetings, workshops, and trainings.
If art, equality, and queer expression are close to your heart — RE:CLAIM! is the space for you!
